Thanks for the tip. Looking to get an x-bolt because they have a rotating bolt sleeve as did the original, and the a-bolt 2 does not. Mine froze solid on a hunt so the bolt wouldn't cycle. Did not want to get one if the oal coud not be modified and still fit in the magazine.

I contacted Browning to find out the maximum oal for 7mm08 that would fit in the x-bolt magazine, but they were hesitant to suggest any but the standard 2.80". Does anyone have an answer? Thanks.
