is there anyone that can get me some quick loads data using RL17 powder for a 300 WSM and 180 grn Interbond bullets, as well as 30-06 using 165 grn in both Accubond and Interbond.
I am going to start working up some loads for next years elk hunt, using 165grn Accubond, i have RL17, RL19, IMR4350, and Magpro, does anyone have some good loads for those since the only one of those that is in the book is IMR4350. Thanks
I live in Portland, OR and i am wanting to get a muzzle brake put on my Tikka T3 300 WSM, does anyone know of any good smith's in the Portland area. Thanks
I am looking into getting a new 270 WSM, i am wanting to know what is the best brand to go with, i have been looking at Tikka, Savage and Winchester, of those 3 which one is the best for hunting deer with.
Well i got my rifle back yesterday, they said that the substance was bluing salts, it is now clean and looks brand new just like it should have when i first got it over a month ago, i am just glad that i got it back in time to sight in before elk season.
The place where i got the rifle got an email sent to them by Beretta on 8-17-2011 saying that they had received the rifle and that it would take 3 to 4 weeks from then to get it back, they did not say what they planned on doing with it, so i guess i will just wait and see what happens
RCBS, i have two of them and they both work great, the reason i have two is so that me and my dad can both reload at the same time using different powders, we were originally going to go with the Hornady to save money, but after reading reviews on many different sites like Midway and Cabela's we...
It is a 300 WSM, and i think you may be correct in saying that it is thread locking compound, but i am not sure, because by now Tikka should have the rifle, i am going to go to the place i purchased it and took it to send back, so i can see if they have heard anything back from them yet...
I just got a new Leupold VX-R 3-9x50 CDS, and my dad has a Bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x50, he really likes the Leupold i just got a-lot, and wants to trade me straight across, should i make the trade or not? If i did i would be putting it on a Tikka T3 300 WSM for hunting elk in eastern Oregon...
Thanks Mike, as i said i have loaded and shot a few of your loads that i worked up safely from a low starting point and got to what i felt was a pretty good place to stop, checking for signs of pressure along the way, that is exactly what i have done even on the loads out of the books, so i no...
Thanks for insight Mike, i have not got a chance to load anything for the 300 WSM yet, and on the other loads that you provided me they were all spot on, and i did not see any signs of pressure at all, i was just asking because even on the Alliant Web site it says that 68 grns is the max load...
Dr. Mike printed me some quick loads data for RL17 and 165 grn AB, and the max load was 64 grns, would it be safe for me to even try to get up to 68 grns like was suggested, and if so should i just load about 3 or 4 at a time increasing a 1/2 grn at a time? I did see on the Alliant web page that...
I am going to be loading up some 165 grn Accubond as well as Interbond for my 300 WSM to hunt Elk with, i am just wanting to know if anyone has any loads i should try, i have IMR4350, RL17, RL19, and Magpro powders, to go with WLRM and CCI250 Primers, i am sure i should be able to come up with...
yeah so am I, it is just a little bit frustrating that i went and spent 560 dollars on something that i do not currently have, but i guess that there is always a reason for everything in life, so i will just wait and see what happens and hope it all works out for the best, just as long as i get...
I took it back to Wholesale Sports where i got it, and they looked at it and had no idea what it was, so they are sending it back to Beretta for me so it can be fixed, they said some times they don't even fix them they just give you a new rifle, either way i am sure that they are going to make...
I just picked up a brand new Tikka T3, and when i got it home and opened the box i noticed some white and yellowish debris in the breach, when i looked in it i saw a ring of white caked on stuff all around the round opening of the breach, i have tried solvent but it wont come off, i am starting...
I am wanting to know if anyone has any good load for the Hornady Interbond 139grn that i can use with my 7mm WSM, i have the Hornady book but it really suck, so i figured i would go here and see what comes up. Thanks: Mick
