I've found H322 and Reloder 10x to also be effective with 125's out of the 308.

Sounds great. I too like the 140 SPH but use it over Varget. Very accurate. Good luck this fall.

Best 308 Win 150 gr load I ever saw was a Hornady SST over a max charge of H4895. Bugeyes.

Good comments; keep 'em coming. My collet die was in about 1.5 turns after contacting the shellholder. Lee's setup instructions call for at least 1x and higher, esp. if your press toggles over. I use the Rockchucker and don't toggle over. I push down until I feel resistance--Lee calls for 25...

I stopped after trying the first 190 LRAB and having it slide back. I went back and tried all 200 NAB's that I loaded (using the exact same collet sizing) with no pushback.

First time. Brass hasn't been reloaded more than 3 or 4x max and always FL.

Prepared 300 Win Mag cases with Lee collet die. Loading two different bullets: 200 NAB and 190 LRAB, both COAL = 3.330". I pushed completed 200 NAB against wooden bench with no decrease to COAL. Tried with 190 LRAB and it pushed relatively easily back into case. I double-checked 200 NAB...

H322 has worked for me, too.

I'm getting a 6.5 CM and already have 120 SPHs ready to go. Sierra makes a good product. Accurate and great value for $.

Didn't exceed book max of 70.5. Used 70.0 H4831 out of 26" Browning AB3. Avg MV 2757 (manual suggested closer to 2900). Seems way too slow. I know others disagree with me, but this gun hits manual's estimated velocities by using faster powders, not slower. Example is IMR4350 and 180 NBTs...
