The 308 spin offs are all good. I would probably lean towards the 7-08 with a close second to the 308. I had a 243 Win and it was a great round to shoot and load for. The 260 Rem is a sleeper round capable of great accuracy and yanking the rug out on deer size game. I think it would be awesome...

I would think the 165 ABLR with a .620 BC would crush elk both near and far. Nosler states you need a 9T so your 7.5T Krieger should really shine. JD338

Sue's early BD present... Weatherby Camelia Wilderness in 7-08. I have a Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm FireDot reticle scope arriving next week. Plan on running 140 gr BT's. Should make for a great woods rifle with some punch and reach. JD338
