Ok don't laugh because i've done it. Take a piece of paper get it to fit inside your shell holder. Put your case on top of the paper and size it. See if it chambers. If you have feeler gauges you could use them.
When you where resizing did you have the handle camming over or did you stop when the die hit the shell holder. Set your die back up and resize a couple pieces that don't fit. Make sure you cam over and let the brass sit in the die a few seconds.
Sounds like your die is to low. Lower your press handle like your sizing. Screw your die down till it touches the shell holder raise your handle and screw the die down a 1/4 turn and lock it down.
Tackdriver it's a 308 lever action. I'm going to measure my case length again I trimmed them to max length if I remember right. I've been trimming my brass to max length to help with carbon build up.
I took my finnwolf to the range today with some test loads. I used a 150gn hornady sst and varget for powder remington 9 1/2 primer. 40gns was fine 40.5gns pierced the primer. Came home pulled a round apart weighted the bullet and charge everything was good. C.o.l was right. Measured the fired...
Welcome aboard. As for your Sako keep a eye on your action screws. I have a model 75 in 300 win mag and the rear screw kept coming loose cracking the stock. Ended up getting a longer screw.
