after cleaning I finish up with a wet patch of Kroil , not dripping wet , just wet .then I put it away . I did use rem oil for many years , I never seen any problems with it .
could be looking for a place to den . this time of year , fox and coyotes are pairing up , for the breeding season . should be breeding any time now through mid or end of February . I think it's a 60 day gestation period . new pups should arrive middle to end of April . you could be in for a...
40 years ago the local gun club had indoor 22 shoots . Anschutz was top of the line , nothing would out shoot them . a couple guys bought Kimbers . they shot well , and won some . from what I remember , I think the Anschutz was the better shooting gun .
the guys I shoot with bought 3 or 4...
it looks like you figured it out . I would never have guessed it was a different weight bullet . add another one to the list of things that make me go Hmmmm . let us know after you shoot again a time or two .
Hi Dan , most guys around here would call that an 11 point . most guys use the ; if you can hang a ring on it , it counts .
PA has antler point restrictions . for it to be a legal point , it must be 1 inch long . protrude 1 inch above the main beam measured at the center of the tine . so...
Happy New Year , Fellas .
tonight is my night to let loose , and get crazy . I'll start by getting my shower a little early , so I don't miss out on any of the festivities . then I'll finish the night up by staying up way past bed time . I'll probably be hitting the sack around 9:30 or 10...
this is a tough one . I'm not sure what causes it , or how to fix it . I've JB'd the throat , I've shot a clean lightly lubed barrel , I've dry patched a clean barrel before going shooting ,I've let the barrel fouled , I've dry patched the fouled barrel , I've tried different cleaning...
we are in flintlock and archery deer season here in PA . one guy found a decent dropped antler Saturday while hunting . he bent over to pick it up and found the other one about two feet away .
we have a couple weeks of flintlock and archery . starting this year in my area , we have a rifle...
I like the ES on the 74.4 load . you have a .020" jump now . most of my accubond loads are jumping more than that . I'd try seating deeper , and watch the ES with the shorter ammo.
I think you'll be happy with that rifle . I bought a 260 for my grandson , it's a dandy rifle and cartridge . I have a bunch of info on this forum , about the rifle . if you're a reloader , there is a bunch of reloading data included in those threads .
I took these the other day . I thought they told a tale .
for guys not familiar with the purple paint . it's called private purple . it acts the same as posted signs . much easier to use , and can't be pulled down , like a posted sign .
I feed Purina pro plan , chicken and rice . Sally always has a solid stool . I've never smelled a fart , seldom hear one . she is fed probably 95% kibble . she'll get a bite or two off the table, but not much .
Sally has 4 more days of doxycycline , for anaplasma exposure . this has...
very nice Fellas , I've really grown to appreciate what a dog can do . how much time it takes to train them , seems to fade away , when you're in the field . it's very satisfying to see this all come together . thanks for posting this up .
