I have the Glock 20 and the Rock River 4.25. I think if I had it to do over again I'd save up for a 6" version 1911. I really like the bronze R1 Remington..Springfield is coming out with one too.
I have the "poor mans" version. Remington M7 stainless synthetic that has served me well so far for many years. That looks like a keeper. I love the short action cartridges, easy on the shoulder.
I've had good accuracy and velocity with H4831sc and the new IMR4955 in mine with 140-142 gr bullets. Pushing them over 2950 out of my rebarreled Savage 110.
Every gun is different, you never know til you try it. If you are using Hornady dies they come with a 310 and 308 expander ball for the right neck tension.
Seems like all load data starts with 55 gr stuff. I've got some 40's I'd like to try out of mine. Should I just start with top end 223 Rem loads? The max loads in the Nosler manual are way slower than advertised, but then again I'm only running an 18"bbl.
Just got my first box of 100 and all are beveled. Hope this cures my issues. They must have just been in a rush to get the initial batch out there and bypassed that step in mfg.
Heaviest configuration working so far,5.6 oz,roughly the weight of an H3 buffer. The original was 2.89 oz. Got some new brass on order so we'll see how that goes.
