    PM sent. I tried Etips in my son's 243 years ago and never could get them to shoot accurately, it very well could have been the twist. The rifle sure shot Ballistic tips well.

    Yeah, you probably won't find any good boots for that price. I have wore Danners all my life, still have a couple pairs. But there customer service is TERRIBLE! Bought a pair of Lowa's and they are great hunting boots.

    Back in the 70s my uncle a I used to do that as well, take our 30-06s and go spend the day shooting ground squirrels, great target practice. Definitely a sore shoulder though.
