    Reloading slowing down

Tempeatures in the 100 degree range for the last few weeks and for the near future, I am not venturing out to shoot, not in a hurry to develope anything, I do want to try the two rifles I bedded, but I will wait till it cools down. Who knows, maybe consumables will come down by then as well.

    Shiloh Sharps 50 2 1/2”

That is one beautiful piece of art and engineering. Whether you look at the wood, case hardening, craftsmanship as a whole one sexy rifle.

I have never used any bipods. These are priced in my range, do you prefer CF or AL option? That would be for hunting. At range I use different setup

    Magnum vs standard rifle primer

I think you have been given solid advice, but occasionally there are exceptions. I have two different 300WBY rifles that i load with LR primers. One likes 180 Grain noslers (AB, BT) with IMR4350 and Remington 9 1/2 LR primer, the other like 180 TSX and IMR7828SC with CCI200 (LR primer). Could...

How many of you are considering a tri-pod to shoot off of for hunting?

I have used Primo's trigger sticks, its a tripod, but the type you just rest the rifle on, not affixing the rifle to the tripod. I used it to practice in the US and then used a similar type hunting in Africa.

    New from Weatherby model 307

The Alpine is still $3,000. Personally, unless building custom, I would rather have a MK V. The bare action is reasonably priced, but I am not qualified to review it.

    Same or Different?

The BT was the first bullet I ever loaded in a rifle cartridge. 180 grn in 300WBY. Back from 1986-1997. Took many deer in Texas (smaller than those up north), always shoulder shot, never lost a deer, always DRT. I new very little about reloading then, but it worked for me.

No explanation necessary. I have a great appreciation for Mausers. As it was explained to me, it was someone's list and not mine.

    Sale at Optics Planet

I bought from them twice. Long ago. First time processed and shipped fine. Second time processed, then got back order notice. I was in “short” schedule for the item. So I cancelled and bought elsewhere

At the range, with the Marlin 1895

Beautiful rifle/setop I love those, but had to settle for a marrlin 336c in 30-30. I have been put on a strict firearm diet last three years.
