The main reason I stepped down to a 130gr bullet is to get a little more velocity in the mix. I don't need the extra stability of the 140 at the distances I'm shooting, I'd rather have a little more terminal shock and less drop instead.

Just FYI, Ramshot Enforcer and Accurate 4100 are the same powder, just different labels. Here's an example from the Western Powder load data, for 45 Colt (30K PSI):

I reload mostly for medium calibers, so IMR 4064 is a mainstay. And can add Varget, as well.

Well, I can't speak to the pheasant and trout situation, but "Guntucky" has some pretty good deer hunting opportunities. Winters are fairly mild, especially compared to SD. Property and cost of living is relatively low, and it's quite red outside of a couple urban areas. Come on down!! 🙂

Mine is on a .243, and I've had it on a 6.5 CM before I got the 6.5-20x scope. So, nothing big. My complaints with the Burris scopes are that they are a little heavy/solid, and the eye relief is a little shorter than I would prefer. But no complaints about optical quality, adjustments, etc...
