    26NOS Patriot Range Trip

Definitely dryfire practice nightly..like 25 times a night. I wouldn't have started you shooting a magnum. I would have you start with a 223 or even 22lr for a few months. The smaller cartridges allow you to build good form and habits. Please dont develop a flinch. It's way hard to break.

    10mm Auto 180gr powder?

Looks like my Xten likes 13.4gr #9 and 180gr HAP. Twenty-nine shots at 25 yards. Just under 1200fps average. I have a box of 180gr XTP. I want to see if the same load shoots the same as the HAP.

    300 WSM Bullet question

At 3200 muzzle velocity you'll be at 3080 fps at 50 yards. Negative acceleration (deceleration/decay ) happens faster than people think.

Will do. I've always had good CS from RCBS.

    6.5-06 Ackley Improved dies?

Man, if that was my only option.... I have a backup plan. I have a stash of virgin Norma 7×57 brass I've had since Obama. I might get another 6mm Rem Ackley Improved. Still have dies.

    6.5-06 Ackley Improved dies?

I've been searching for 6.5-06 AI dies for a couple of days. My search is coming back empty. Does anyone have any idea where to det a set? I have a Rem 700 long action with a 3006 bolt face bolt. I have plenty of Norma 3006 brass to work with. I could do a 280ai but the 3006 brass will be WAY...

    95gr VLD can't hit paper out of a 1:8 6CM

Maybe have a friend stand and watch for gray ' poofs ' in front of the target. I dont think anything under 350,000 rpm would destroy jackets in a barrel that isn't really rough

Any plans for a new rifle in 2025?

I've (mostly) stopped buying factory rifles and started re-barreling. Last year the new barrel was a second 30 Nosler. This year is a new 223 Ackley Improved. Guess I'm going another direction, lol. I've had 270ai, 6mm rem ai, and my favorite 260ai. Always wanted a 223ai .

Might there be a single great powder recommendation for both rifle reloading?

A compromise in performance and accuracy will probably be detrimental by trying to use the same powder. The exception would be 130gr in 270wsm and 140 to156gr in 6.5 cm. Then H4350 could work for both. I use Retumbo and 150gr vld in 270wsm. I use H4350 and rl16 and 140gr in 6.5 cm. Those...

    30 Nosler vs coyotes!

This turkey egg eater was dispatched the same morning...no hats were made. Those 200gr Hybrid targets are serious business. I finally pulled the trigger on a doe at 250yds, first time I ever had to take a Texas heart shot. Ragdoll tossed her, lights out. No meat loss.
