I’ve got SRP .260 brass at home along with my .260Regular R700, & I was planning on working with over the holidays.
The bolt is a PT&G, if that matters.
We raise a hog when we want Pork, so I can’t attest to how well I’m sure they will do on a Hog, but I have taken dump truck loads of Georgia Deer with a 270 Win pushing 140 Grain Accubonds.
I’ve not had to track a 1.
They all expired in the tracks they were shot in.

I’ve heard quite a few nods for the .260 & 7-08 over the years for just what you plan, so that’s what I will be looking for with my son.
Efficiency never really goes out of style: sure, the powder burning Mule kickers get the front page, but normally, the "Plain Vanilla" more often fills the Freezer, time after time, after time.
