Yes, it is true the chambers are reamed to CIP standards. Which means it shouldn’t expand the brass as badly as our SAAMI chambers can.
Tighter tolerances are always a good thing.

Boy! I always heard that Sauer made excellent stuff!
For it being a “budget” rifle, it sure is very refined.
The trigger out of the box is light years ahead of a lot of our premium rifles here.
I don’t know how they did it, but the stock is absolutely solid.
It doesn’t flex anywhere.
I love the...
All of the reloading sources carry bullets, and brass.
I’m tempted to find some PPU just to have to shoot.
Speer makes inexpensive hot cor bullets.

I wish more manufacturers would include the European calibers here.
I really do like them a lot, especially the 9,3x62! It has all of what I want in a caliber, high ballistic coefficient bullets, high sectional density bullets, and can be used for anything here in North America, plus most...
I have to agree with you about the polymer stocks! I wish every synthetic stock manufacturer would copy the Sauer 100’s stock.
That’s what a stock should be.
I was wondering if that was the only difference compared to your 100 XT? Now I know.
I’m really chomping at the bit to go and do some...
Hey Dr.Mike!
I was wondering if you could whittle up some QL Data for the 9.3x62mm, bullet weight range 232 grs to 300 grs., with a 22 inch barrel, 1 in 14 inch twist.
If at all possible, run the loads at 60k psi first, and run second loads at 64k psi, please?
Thank you in advance!

Yes, they do balance very well, especially it being such a big cartridge and huge hole in the barrel.
The trigger is the best I’ve ever seen on any rifle I’ve ever had, too.
What’s not to like about it?
I just ordered an extra Mag from the first vendor you suggested. It was the least out of any...
You hit the nail right on the head with the Sauer 100 Black!
Thank you for being so knowledgeable about the Sauer 100 line of rifles! I do enjoy when members can impart their knowledge to help me with a given rifle of mine.
It’s awesome you have the .30-06 version! Congratulations! I can feel...
UPDATE:
Got my Sauer 100 Black in, and it’s a BEAST!!
I, think, the reason they called it BLACK, is because exactly that’s what everything on it is.
Where the safety markings are, just black, but it has the indentations to let you know where the safety lever engages, etc…
The detachable box...
What I like about the caliber, the bullets have a high ballistic coefficient compared to other medium bores, along with higher sectional density, so the bullets dig deep, and that’s a huge plus for the bigger critters, especially those that bite, if I do want to go on a Grizz hunt at some point...
