22-250 brass not able to salvage

The last box of Nosler brass I got was all over the place with a .020 spread Some were .008 below trim to length... Some were .012 (yes twelve thousandths) over case length max. I got more consistency from Winchester and Remington brass than Nosler. Norma, Lapua...??? Fuhgetaboutit P.s. It...

I have a range in my basement for rimfire although I've been itching to go at it with my 1911 My backstop is .... I don't know if youve ever heard of this company but New Pig makes these oil spill mats that soak up oil. They come in rolls. Big rolls. I have 5 placed like bowling pins. Its way...

Let me see a show of hands of the Trap Shooters on our forum.

One club here does a wobble trap. It's absolutely some of the most fun... Humbling for sure. Two traps with covers between post 1&2 and the second between post 4&5 The traps are literally beside you plus being covered there's no way to predict the flight of the clay. They run it as such...

Let me see a show of hands of the Trap Shooters on our forum.

Around here for shotgun anyways... Trap is #1 Sporting Clays #2 Skeet is #3 and a distant #3 at that Perhaps one reason is a club in our local league hosts the Skeet state championships every year. It's a big deal Oddly or not oddly pending the paint job you're looking at it's the only club...

Let me see a show of hands of the Trap Shooters on our forum.

There's a guy who doesn't shoot much any longer (health) but... He was the top gun in the league for years. His weapon of choice.... Cue the price is right music..... A Remington 870 express. YEP...THE CHEAP, CRUDE AND UGLY LOOKING 870. He carried a 98%-99% average for decades.

Completed transition from Alliant to Hodgdon...

Don't worry about it. The tariffs won't impact primers one iota. At least not Fed, Rem, Win, CCI Nobel Sport and Cheddite I can't say the same but that will impact more shotgun shooters than anyone else.

    Oily Bullets?

That's interesting because it's quite common. I will say the oil is definitely harder on a copper jacket but.... Let's say Ballistic Silvertips with the black coating. Oil is in every bag...easier to see Here's a bag showing what I mean You will just have to trust me. The dark on that bag...

    Oily Bullets?

A positive cerebral effect is never a bad thing but that is all you're really benefitting. The velocity spread with bullets oily or not is negligible. I'm not saying there is zero difference but rather there is zero difference in performance that you will see. As example.... 25 fps spread at...

    Identify Mystery Reloading Tool

That is for one of two things trimming hulls for the perfect length for the perfect crimp...which is a waste of time... or... cutting slits into wads but I am not sure why a wad would be slit free from the get go... I am thinking it's hull related. It could also be a tool used for new...
