Nathan,
I have a 338x26Nosler reamer( long throat). If your interested in borrowing it; I'll send you the reamer print. It's throated to shoot the long ogive bullets.

My situation is one of choice. About 8 or nine years ago I started shooting and hunting with rifles again after bow hunting for 20+. I went a little crazy when I started reloading. Reloading led to some accurate loads and accurate rifles. I bought many rifles to try the cartridge and sometimes...
325WSM, 33Nosler, 35Whelen, 375H&H.
My 325WSM has taken more animals than any other rifle in my safe. Working on the 33Nosler and 35Whelen both on Win 70s. I have a 375 barrel in the closet waiting for an inspiration. Any of the above would finish out your top end very well.

Bench height is determined by your desire to sit or stand. I've done both. I prefer a standing height with tall bar stools if I feel like sitting. If you plan on staying put attach it to the wall and you'll be able to forgo the back legs. The bench pictured cost less tan 250$ three years ago...
I have the Kilo 2000 and it's amazing. I've ranged trees and rocks as far as 2200yds. Now this......

Guy,
6.5 or 308?
In 308 your already set up for reloading but I think your 700 does everything you could want or ask for. If it's in 6.5,I'd grab it. The 6.5 is a lot of fun and easy to load for. I won a 100$ bet with mine last week :) when I hit 12" steel target cold bore 1 shot at 895yards. My...
I had saved up about 1500$ to put towards components if the election had gone the way it was looking. Now I don't have to! With a Republican Congress and President I think I might just buy another rifle!

Fotis,
33Nosler case length is 2.460. I would surmise that the shoulder is set back like the 30Nosler. Nosler hasn't published the length to shoulder yet.
The 26 and 28 are identical. 2.59 case length and 2.166 to shoulder.
The 30Nosler is 2.556 case length and 2.115 to shoulder.
I'm...
Ditto on Scotty's comments. If your mag box is limited to 2.8" I'd go with the Creed. If it's 3" the 260 will give you a little more. A 1 in 8 twist let's me shoot any bullet out of my Creed.

The 338 x 26Nosler I have in the works should push that new bullet to 2950fps; about the same as a 338Edge with pressure being the same. I'll be loading this one out 3.6" or so. I took a guess that Nosler would go to .338 before they went .257 for the new ABLRs. I should have the rifle done by...
I have two Kimbers; a Classic 84 in .308 and a Classic 8400 in 325wsm. Both guns were average shooters with my first choice in bullets. Took both to Africa and they performed well. When I started to work loads with alternate bullets/powders they really shined. The .308 loves 125gr ABs at...
Is your chrony set correctly? I once had problems like this and ended up being the chrongraph. It was a folding type that was opened up to completely flat causing an artificially high reading.

Fotis,
What I've been doing for years is making meals like spaghetti, stroganoff, stew etc, vacuum pack and freeze. Packed into a cooler with dry ice they keep for up to 10 days. When you want to heat them up you drop them into a large pot of boiling water for 20 minutes and your good to go...
I don't even have my 6.5WSM back from the smith and I'm planning the next one.
The 338 Rocket is the 26Nosler necked up to .338 and throated to run at 3.6" or longer depending on preferred bullets. The dummies I have assembled are with 225 and 300 Accubonds. Q/L says I should get 3100,3000 and...
