While you already have the 7mm Rem Mag, the advantage of going with another 7mm would be that you already are usedto the ballisitcs and similar performance of the 7mm PRC would not mean having to rethink ballistics out to 300-400 yards if using as a back up rifle. One less thing to worry about...
