We recently had a new Douglas tube threaded onto the .264, with a 1-8” twist. It shoots our 140 grain Accubond handloads with H4831 powder into 1/2-3/4” groups at 100 yards.

My experience with the .270 is somewhat limited compared to others here. You could say I’m late to the party as I’ve typically preferred the .30-06 and .25-06 cartridges. Like Don said, the .270 and 130’s go together like bread and butter. Try 4350 and/or 4831, with any good 130 grain bullet...

Ditto the Accubonds. I have used them in my .30-06 extensively for deer, sheep and elk. They are all I use in the .30-06!! I have no doubt (and the experience of well seasoned hunters like Guy and Scotty back this up) that the BT’s will perform admirably at the distances you described.
