    100 gr. Nosler .264 experiences

Not a 260 but did load the 100gr BT in my 6.5x55 for a grandson to use when he was younger. Didn't want him to get thumbed so I used a starting load of H4895 37grs FC 210 primer and 45grs H4350 FC 210 primer. Don't have the velocity but recoil was slight and the hole in the doe shot at about 40...

    Blocked by Midway

Was wondering if anyone else has had any trouble of being blocked by Midway from accessing their site? I have been a longtime customer, never an issue before. I looked around, put an item in my cart then went back and it won't let me logon. Called customer service couple times explaining the...

    175gr ablr

That 80.5gr load looks good to me. It would get you any elk as long as you do your part. Good hunting.

    Bullet Help

Good that you got it figured out. I'm interested in how they perform for you. Worked with a guy years ago that used this bullet (factory load) in his Remington Mod 760 35 Rem. Said they did well.

Which Scope for the 6.5 Swede Tikka?

Leupold 4x12x40 with the Creedmoor reticle on both of my 6.5x55s. The holdover dots correspond well with loads 2700-2800fps and it's a good fit for my area of hunting. I sight dead on then the first dot is 200yds and the second is for 300yds. Works perfect for me as that is as far as I want to...

    Well I did it...

I'm jealous Fotis. My Tikka looks like a 2x4 compared to yours. Very pretty. I do like the way it groups though;)

    Kudu bull and the ABLR

Nice and congratulations. Odd about the case separation. Maybe it wasn't your fault just unnoticed bulge. Good you were able to get it out of the chamber.

    This day 1969

I was 11 years old and remembering watching the landing on tv. Had two older cousins that had been drafted into the Army and had and was in Vietnam, so we watched tv catching up on current events.

Shotshell for 44 mag from krag and 444 marlin

The late Mike Venturino wrote about making shot loads for snakes in his six guns. Best I remember he loaded them in the same cases as the calibers he was loading for. There was a picture of a shredded potato he used as a target, and it was pretty impressive.
