Isn't that what I said? Hate to say it, but a lot of over diagnosing posted above. It's the sizing die needing to be turned down more like I said... pm for more help, accurate help

Bump it at least .002 if your hunting, in case sand or any junk get in there. Why do you need the head space? Buy some tools to measure brass and your OAL. That's all you need. Without knowing your once fired brass, from this rifle, you won't be able to resize your brass properly. Find that out...
Have you measured your shoulders of your once fired brass? Then have you measured your resized brass?
I would start there to know how far back to bump the shoulders back. Screw your die down more. I have to do that on my Warbird and my Grendel.

You can guesstimate by now Shooting at 200 and write down your dope to hit center, then go to 300, write down your dope to zero it, etc.. then you can use your confirmed dope and calculate your MV.
Just buy a Chronograph then you can measure your SD, ES, and see how consistent your reloads are...
You can but you're not gaining much space. Beside the ammo moves forward in the mags. Could induce some feeding issues. You never know. Get a DTA then you can load your bullets long. They make the best mags out there

Like what was commented before. Do an OCW test first. Single load it. And if the OAL needs to sit farther than your mag length then worry about it. You first need to see if you're wasting your time. OCW it first, by single loading the rounds that have the longer OAL

I know. But pushing those 180's I think I can get 3300 but I would have to see the accuracy. But those 150's past 150 yards drop them like no tomorrow. It's like a grenade goes off!
Well I have a hunch of 180's too of the Partition. Being 33 I have some time to burn and some barrels to shoot out! But using the 165 would be great for Elk. I had an issue with the 150's breaking up going 3707 fps. I shot some animals in new Zealand and it didn't kill them right away. So I...
Yes I agree. My dad gifted me rifle when I graduated college and the guy making these rifles used a 1/12 twist swearing by John Lazzeroni's 150 grain specially coated TSX bullet. I assume that's why the slow twist. I was able to get 1.25" groups at 300 yards which is my zero for this rifle. I...
Ambient air ranges from freezing to 70's. It's my all around hunting rifle.
My twist rate is 1/12
I will load these to 3.6 COL. Yes I have a magazine box. But I can load them longer
I am shooting a Lazzeroni Warbird, I am looking at which bullet to choose for this cartridge. I am torn between the 190 or 210 Accubond LR.
My muzzle velocity per Quickload at max would be for the 190 = 3237 fps. The 210 =3096 fps.
Using the Optimal Barrel Time I need to be at around 3087...
