The .338 win is a great caliber.I want to dig my old Sako out and try some of these new bullets. The Nosler 200 grain E tip looks like a promising choice.
Those grips are cool looking.I have night sights on some of my guns, but the tridium no longer glows in the dark.It would be nice to have the crimson trace grips for total darkness.
Midway USA has them on sale this month for $269.99
Do you know of anywhere they can be had cheaper?
I have thought about getting a set, but I shoot fine instinctively,no sights really needed.
The 1911 is where I have spent a good bit of time shooting over the past twenty five years.I love em.My first love use to be a .44 mag revolver.
My friends are always looking for the latest hollow point construction for their
9mm.Trust me, I am happy with hard ball in my .45ACP
My though is, you can never have too many 1911's and you can never have too much premium quality ammo for them.
I am a believer.I have shot the rest, but I only want the best.
It may be almost 100 years old, but I have yet to find anything close.
One of John's very best!
Good point, and I usually do use factory ammo in the guns I carry.
I have about 500 of the Gold Sabers for .45ACP, 9MM, and .40S&W. I will probably just load them up and put them in a military can to have on hand. The bullets are too good and expensive to waste on targets.I like to have plenty...
Me and a friend of mine have these pistols and they love to jam.I am shooting 200 grain semi wadcutters.I have not tried hard ball ammo yet.
I am still puzzled why these pistol jam so easily. My ammo functions flawlessly in my other 1911's.
My fathers favorite deer rife was an old Marlin 336 chambered for the .44mag.He bought it in 64 and killed some monster bucks with it.I always thought it was a bit marginal, but not for him.My first real deer rifle was a Marlin 336 in .30/30.These days I hunt deer mostly with a .45/70 or a .405...
Nah I just need a few boxes.I need to make out a bullet order.I am running low on different calibers. You can't ever tell what is going to be in stock these days.Especially in .223 and .308, and handgun bullets. That 14.Inetba said call for current prices.I have never heard of them before.
