I forgot to get back on this one. She was hit with a quartering shot entering at the front edge of the liver and hitting the back edge of the left lung it ripped the right lung apart. The bullet stopped under the skin. reflex264
The barrel is made by Storm Lake. Very good craftsmanship.
Shot a nice fat doe this evening with the 21SF .45. She was 20 yards from my tree. She traveled 10 yards and piled up. The load was a 185gr Nosler at 1200fpr from the 6" Storm Lake barrel. Fun Hunt!!! reflex264

I am going to carry this one to kill a whitetail. Glock 21SF .45 ACP. It is shooting 185grs 1200fps from the 6" barrel. It has a trigger job and a 3.5 connector so it doesn't feel so much like a cap gun. Capible of shooting under 1" at 25 yards. We shot it side by side into the ballistic buff...
I am loading them with 67.0grs Magnum lit by a CCI 250. Barrel stays cool and no pressure signs at all. Groups are staying .375 and under. Glad you boys liked him. I am going to try to set up for a 600 yard kill with the old rifle this season. reflex264

I too am very curious about the construction of the new bullet. I appoligize for worrying the Noslers to death but I sincerely hope it did some good. If the new bullet does indeed have a partition I can see that it would be very useful. I still want the old one back though. reflex264
Rifle season open here in a couple of weeks and I have several good bucks and one great one. This is a terrible pic of the booner. He was running flat out 300 yards away right at dark. All I had time to do was stick the camera up and snap. Then I had to use the computer to clean it up. Very...
I have been sifting through some of my field test data with the .458 300gr PP bullet and have some more that you might get a kick out of. This was a brief overview from a hunter that carried my loaner rifle and ammo to Canada after trophy black bears. I will start with some of the posts leading...
I collect Weaver scopes and mounts. In particular I collect pivot mounts as they were called for Marlin leveractions. I love the system. All of them I have return to zero without any problems. They were then and still are practical mounts. I zero in the open sights then zero in the scope. Here...
Here is the story as posted on another forum:
O.K. fellers here we go! I know Reflex is about to drive himself crazy wanting details, I guess I will tell the story now! Arrived on bait at about 3:30pm Monday. At 4:30 I heard a noise that sounded like a bull moose moving in the timber. Bear do...
This is a 300gr .458 Nosler removed from a bear that was intent on eating the hunter. The hunter was in a ground blind. The bear approached the blind then started walking off. All of the sudden the bear charged and the hunter fired the shot at 6'. The bear flipped backwards at the shot. The...

Now that I feel like the Noslers are listening I pulled this up from some of my bullet testing. Before anyone decides this is a bunch of nonsense I urge you to try the experiments for yourself. It is beyind eye opening that this bullet works so well. I will post a picture (after I take it) of...
thanks again. I was going to re-write the article slightly to compinsate. The free press the bullet will get should make more people aware of how good this bullet really is. reflex264
