This used to be a nice Lazermark.....

This is only my opinion as a gun looney. Does this "unauthorized" modification constitute the death penalty! Keith

    Varmint load?

Thanks for setting me straight. After thinking about this more, I will likely work up a load for the 280 Remington around a ballistic tip bullet. Keith

    Varmint load?

After my deer hunting observations and looking at the trail camera, I have decided that I need to apply for a wolf kill tag lottery in Wisconsin. Question is this, would I be better off working up varmint load with either a 280 Remington or a 260 Remington? Either way I would have to find some...

    Optics for 260 Remington

I am looking to replace the Nikon Monarch scope that I presently have mounted on a Model 7 260 Remington. Shooting distance will be a maximum of 200 yards. I am less than satisfied with the optics presently on the rifle. This rig will be used mostly for hunting/target shooting by my...

Rifle Recommendation For A 10 Year Old

Does your friend reload? If the answer is no, the simple answer is 243 Winchester due to its availability. If the answer is yes, it could be 243 Winchester, 257 Roberts, 260 Remington or 7mm-08. Keith

Working with a rifle, and it's owner

I agree with the reduced load thinking. As for another thought. From personal experience, I was fighting with a rifle that I knew could be very accurate. What I discovered was the rifle and scope was not the problem. The actual problem was that I needed a NEW pair of glasses  Keith

I think Dylann and Wyoming Huntress should put on a shooting clinic. I know a few people that could use a good shooting coach. Keith

If memory serves me correctly, I believe MSRP was in the ballpark of $2000. Keith

    Reduced load word of caution!!!

I was experiencing the above listed problem when I was using a 23.5 gr charge on IMR SR4759 with a 120gr bullet. I got the above charge information from IMR so I didn't think the operating pressures were too low. Guess that I am at a loss as to why this happened. Keith

    July 10th range trip (pics)

In looking at the 338WM with 210gr PT and 75 gr of RL19; have you tried different seating depths? what kind of velocity are you getting?. From my limited experience, I would recommend that you invest in a quality trigger. I have seen that pay huge dividends in improving accuracy! Keith

    Reduced load word of caution!!!

I am trying to work up some light loads for a 260 Remington. Have run across an interesting observation. Low velocities have led to poor case to chamber sealing in my Remington model 7. The small amount of gas leakage combined with low pressures can allow powder fouling to build up in the case...

Shooting Steel with the 257 Roberts

You have only created a monster that you will have a hard time controlling when Sue is regularly able to out shoot you in long range competition. Or she wants to purchase the "Bob" from you. I hope you are teaching her how to roll her own ammo? Keith P.S. Can Sue give my gf some shooting...
