The Win. 70 I've use is fired a couple of times, before going afield. It served me well in Wyoming on a recent antelope hunt, placing the 130 grain bullet within an inch at 400 yds. Prior to the hunt I fired the rifle one time. Same rifle, same bullet, same powder chg, nothing changed since last...
They are pretty much ready to load. Having said that, I have found they require sizing, just to be sure the necks are as intended, as shipping may cause the necks to out of round.

You can tell alot about folks and how they were brought-up understanding certain values and how those values still mean a great deal in their lives to this day.
Thanks T.D.,

O/u are the best! Very classy,
I have been using an early 1960s Belgium Browning Superposed 12 ga. for many a year. Do I need to say 1000s of shots thru the barrels, trap leagues, bird hunts etc., a well made shotgun!
No matter your choice, they are nice guns.
All the best, Jim
I load for two wsms, finding that RL/22 and either CCI-250s or Rem. 9 1/2M primers worked the best. CCI-250s are very tight in certain primer-pockets. Seat those 140ABs right out there, but not touching, as some rifles like bullets very close.
YMMV,
Jim
I have shot imr7828 in the 340 wby. for several years, always using F215 mag. primers. The OP did not speak of the bullet he planed to use with the mentioned powder chg., but I found imr7828 to work well with the popular ones when shot from Weatherby rifles.

TB-78,
To my understanding 2nd hand of course from the original owner, he had fired one factory 30=06 load and upon rotating the bolt to extract the fired case, the bolt handle was raised but the bolt body did not turn. After the repair, the bolt functioned as it should. This happened 3-4 years...
I have seen one Kimber rifle that had a bolt problem after one shot in the field! The owner sent it in for repair and had it at the range firing it again after repairs. It was for sale.
Personally, I have no distrust about owning a new model.

When I had my last yellow shooting-glasses made, I went to a local eye dr. that also shoots. His whole family is shooters and hunters. Several years before, I had cataracts removed and replacement lenses in both eyes. Now, no glasses needed 'cept for reading very small print. It changed my whole...
I use it in the easy-to-find calibers, noticing that none of the WSM calibers are produced either in empty cases or ammo., as of this date.
The best, Jim
