G'Day Fella's,
Polaris, unfortunately the Remington M 721 and 722 and so many of the older Remington types, are very rare down here.
Despite working in the firearms industry for years, I don't think I have ever physically handled one (722)?
Very very occasionally, you might see one advertised...
G'Day Dr Mike,
Those Ross rifles would be something to behold!
Yes, I'm the same, I appreciate both the historical aspect of the firearms themselves and also, the Engineering side of their mass production......back then.
No Tungsten Carbide or High Speed Steel (HSS) cutters, just Carbon Steel...
G'Day Fella's,
Preacher, I don't have a .358 Norma but I do have a 22' barreled .350 Rem Mag.
I use the 250grn Woodleigh Protected Point exclusively in this rifle, with some great results on Game.
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
Thank You for your kind comments Dr Mike!
I have a thing for post WWII sporting Rifles, and these Beesa's fit into this field.

G'Day Fella's,
I'm the same Preacher!
Whilst I like Turkish Circassion walnut, it is the contrasting Black water line in this type of walnut that counters the Blonde of this wood, that makes it for me.

G'Day Fella's,

G'Day Fella's,
Alderman, I let the weight of the lap itself (and the abrasive), do all the work!
Also, as I move the lap forward and back, I also rotate the lap from left to right and Vice-Versa.
The latter is done, to even out the wear on the lap itself.
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
Blkram, I don't have a Proof Research CF barrel but I do have a couple of New Zealand made Hardy Rifle Engineering CF barrels.
This one is for a project where I want to build up a lightweight mountain rifle in 6.5mm Rem Mag (1 in 8" twist).
The other CF barrel, is a replacement...
G'Day Fella's,
This not a product review but more of an enquiry about where I can purchase MSR products (specifically- a Reactor camp stove, Tent and Snow Shoes), from a retailer in the US or Canada?
FYI, here is a link to the MSR web site but they won't sell to persons, outside the US...
G'Day Fella's,
50 meters FOTIS.
You can see that 3 shots went thru the same hole (Top Right) and the other two, just blew out the group size!
I think I have worked out how to bed these CZ rifles correctly.
All I have to do now, is work how to shoot them (and all the others)!!!
Doh!

G'Day Mr Nosler,
Just wondering, I've had a heap of .257" 100grn Ballistic Tips on back order, for over 6 months now.
Any idea when these may become available again?
Looking forward to any info on this.
Regards
Homer
G'Day Fella's,
Buddy T, from the measuring I've done, it would appear most other bullet makers do a run of bullets on several machines, then combine ALL the bullets into one batch.
Nosler on the other hand, seem to do a run of bullets on one machine/set up and thats what we end up with!
Here...
G'Day Folks,
African Huntress, here are some images of a very nice W.J.Jeffery Double (in .450/400 3") I imported for a customer/Mate of mine a couple of years back!
I hope that helps wet your appetite, for your pending purchase!

Homer
G'Day Fella's,
I thought some of you blokes may like to see how rifles stocks are roughed out, by Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine centers these days.
Keep an eye out, for when the machine makes it's tool changes (x2)!
