G'Day Fella's,
I have for some time now, been wanting to get myself a .17 HRM rifle.
I had been contemplating getting one of the new Lithgow Arms 101's but then, thats another story................................
So last week, I contacted a mate that owns http://www.safarifirearms.com.au and...
G'Day People,
Yukon Huntress, http://www.woodleighbullets.com.au do still manufacture a 200grain Flat Nose Soft Nose (FN SN), Weldcore (Bonded) bullet (Cat No "56E") .
You should be able to source them in Nth America, via http://www.huntingtons.com in California, USA!
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
Thank You for the tip on 6.5 RM ammo, 26NosFan!
I can always resize .350RM cases but.....I would probably need to Neck Turn them after that!!!

G'Day Fella's,
The Bear_78, great choice in caliber there!
In a strong little rifle like the 1892 Winchester design, the .45 Colt comes into it's own!
Here are some images of mine, as I was sighting in/adjusting the iron sights.
The load I was sighting in/adjusting the iron sights, on this...
G'Day Fella's,
Muleman, I'm in the process of putting together a lightweight huntin rifle but I chose the good old 6.5 Rem Mag (a factory cartridge)!
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
Dr Mike, that sounds like a lot of FUN is being had!!!
Thank You JD338, and I chose the MOAR-T reticle.

G'Day Fella's,
Having a Birthday very close to Christmas, I shouted myself a gift for both days!
I had been for sometime, contemplating which scope to fit to this Rem 700 MLR rifle and also, a scope with it's reticle in the First Focal Plane (FFP) or Second Focal Plane (SFP)?
I finally settled...
G'Day Fella's,
JR1968, for many years (a while back now), I used this bullet (@ 3590 fps) to shoot a heap of critters including hundreds of Kangaroo's, along lots of Pigs and Goats.
They all died almost instantly!
Well, I've grown a bit older and wiser and these days I only shoot 100grn bullets...
G'Day Fella's,
I'm thinking of fitting one of my rifles, with a small Red Dot/Reflex sight.
There seems to be no shortage of options these days (Trijicon, Leupold, J Point etc) but I have been very impressed with what Meopta produce, hence this enquiry!
Have any of you blokes used or own one...
G'Day Fella's,
3 Deer, it is generally recommended that when using Ball or Spherical powders (like Win 748, which FYI is a great choice for the .308 Win), that it's best to use Magnum primers for best results.
FYI, the only rifles I reload ammo for that I use Standard LR primers in, is a...
