If so (but I doubt it....), I'd be in need of reloading data for Vihtavuori N550 powder for the following bullets :
- Nosler BT 120
- Sierra 142 Match King
...to be shot in a 1 : 8" twist rate 24" barrel.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers.

My 222 Remington shoots really well with the cleaned barrel.
Groups start going south after approx. 30 rounds.
Not real bad, but "clover leafing" is easily obtained when the tube's shining....
Also, no problems with the cold bore shot.
A few times, I've seem to notice the second and...
Some updates with the Norma 200 development...
As Reloaders, we know we'll never give up on the "working up loads" process...
Nosler BT55 @ 170 m. - 20,7 Grs. Norma 200 - 5 shots
Apart from one flyer (shooter's error, I bet...) it looks promising....
Berger 52 Match FB @ 170 -...
I'd need some compassionate Folk to run QL for me, if possible, for the following data :
7 SAUM - Berger VLD 168 with Reload Swiss 62 and Reload Swiss 70
7 SAUM - Berger VLD 180 Hybrid with Reload Swiss 62 and Reload Swiss 70
284 Winchester - Berger VLD 180 Hybrid with Reload Swiss 62 and...
Hi Guys, maybe it's a stupid question......
Can Someone tell me what's the "Real" G7 ballistic coefficient of a 120 grs. Nosler BT ?
Thanks a bunch.

30.06 is a very good and well known caliber all over the world and it can take game at long range in the hands of the right hunter, but I don't believe it can be compared to the 300 Winnie in any way, apart from sharing some of the same bullets imho.
[WINKING FACE]
Although Blaser R93/R8 are very excellent and accurate rifles, I am not a big fan of that type of bolt (opening fins).
No direct experience on any kind of problems (a friend of mine has an R93 with 4 barrels and never had any issue - and he put thousands of rounds down those tubes  ), but...
Sadly the Sauer 404 will not be chambered for WSM family.
Only 7 Rem, 300 win, 8x68S or 338 win, for the Magnum family and only in a 24" tube.
Strangly enough, on the other hand, Blaser R8 do offer the WSM in 26" tube...
And Blaser owns Sauer...
Back on the subject.....
The scale is pending more towards the .300
Depending on final distance, bullets from 168 through 190 perform quite good, with the 190's being more likely the best compromise for all ranges.
Question on the .300 Winnie.... how big of a difference do you...
120 BT is the bullet I've been using since a few years now.
I did some studying and I think it may be the best bet for my 6,5x57R Mauser and not sure that running a heavier bullet, like the 140's, would improve performance.
I feel 120's are driven faster.
Om my load they give me 2760 fps.
Not...
I don't know "these days". I started hunting with a rifle in the late 80's and my first rig was a Mauser Europa 66 chambered in 7x66 Vom Hofe super express, firing a 175 grs. Torpedo Geschoss bullet. It didn't feel that bad back then, although I only shot it for hunting purposes...
I sold that...
What would you Guys think about a muzzlebreak for either these two calibers, in a 24" barrel :
a) Absolutely necessary
b) Useful, it helps
c) Useless
And if you have picked a) or b), is it mainly to help manage recoil or improve accuracy ? ..or both ?
Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiosity I run some ballistic data.
The results are quite surprising.....the 7 mm. wins hands down on paper....
Much better wind bucking and energy downrange.
For the records, I have run 168 and 180 for the 7 and 168, 190 and 210 for the .300....
Are those figures going to apply to...
...and, if I got it right, CDS turret do one turn only...
So, depending on caliber/load, we are talking something about 6 MOA max.....
Can you confirm ?
I know Keith and I agree with you (y)
However, this will be my hunting Partner's rifle and He wants to start off with factory ammo's, as he probably does not plan to shoot much and he's not interested in reloading.
So, for the moment, no handloading....
If it was me.....no doubts !
Thanks again Guys.....and 243 will be !
Going to order a 20" barrel with 1:10" twist rate.
One more question....what commercial round would you recommend for deer size game ?
Out of instinct, I'd go with the Winchester 95 grs. Silvertip....but I am sure you Guys have some direct experience...
