I have used it in my 300 RUM so far. Pretty similar to Retumbo from what I’ve seen. I haven’t had the chance to try it in much else but I have 8lbs of the stuff.

For sure Mike. I wouldn’t think twice. I use the 180 TTSX in my 600 350 REM. Even with the short barrel I get 2850 and accuracy is excellent.

RL15 will achieve 2600 with a 24” barrel pretty easily in a Whelen so I’ll take a stab it will do at least that well in a similar 350 if you’re not constrained to 2.8 in the mag. That was written before Leverevolution, cfe223, pp2000 and a few others were released so you have some more options...

I’m with the others. Try shortening up your load .010 or maybe a skosh more and you’ll have all the groups looking good.

That’s just such a solid hunting rifle. I’ll never admit it to anyone out loud but that is a very versatile rifle for really everything.

That Ruger African 35 Whelen is one real nice feeling rifle. I’d be okay having one kicking around the house.

Agreed. Someone gets too big for their britches they get handed a box of ABLRS or Swift Sciroccos. Those have made me feel like I should be buying factory ammo at times. :LOL:

I tried them early on thinking the same thing but if I remember right you had to seat the bullet below the ogive to function through a BLR magazine. They shot excellent in my bolt guns though. My brother has been killing deer with his 358 and 200 AB for a few years now and loves it.

Same thoughts here. The Accubonds have mostly replaced where I used to use Partitions. Not because they don’t work but the Accubonds are great up close and especially further out.

Why not use your current data and load up some test loads. You’ll see the difference long before anything QL will do for you.
