This morning I took a whitetail doe at approximately 50 yards using a Tikka 270 WSM loaded with 130 grain E-tip over max charge of Mag-pro powder. This load chronographed a little over 3200 FPS. The deer was uphill from me and at the shot she took about two hops on three legs and then slide...

I have one in 350 Legend and really like it. It is as accurate as I am with various loads. I like how this rifle carries as well.

Come on guys! 😂 surely someone on this forum has something to say about the announcement this morning about Nosler's new ammo designed for whitetail. I've never used plain solid base bullets let's hear some opinions. I also see they are making 180 grain 350 legend ammo.👍

I'm already at the point of sacrificing excellent results for acceptable results in an effort to keep my cost down. Inflation and family responsibilities require I keep my hobby cost to a minimum.
