The .25-06 standard twist rate is 1-10” and even if it doesn’t care for the 100 grain mono’s accuracy-wise, the twist is sufficiently fast to not keyhole that bullet. If yours is custom, it is possible that someone put a custom twist (like 1-12” for example) which would not be conducive to the...
Four boxes (400 total bullets) of 100, still sealed of the .357 110 grain Hornady XTP.
$75 shipped for all four.
Paypal preferred
Would trade straight across for four boxes of the 158 grain .357 Hornady XTP or for two boxes of the 7mm 150 grain Nosler Accubond.
Another one I hate to part with but thus it is. A great handgun, very little use, little to no wear. Comes with a custom leather “slim jim” style western holster and Hunter cartridge belt.
A 1997 vintage Ruger Bisley Blackhawk 7.5” barrel in .357 Magnum.
I need cash so not looking for trades...
55 grains of IMR4350 or 59 grains of H4831 and basically any good 130 grain bullet have always cooked well for me in the good ol’ .270!
A Model 70 Featherweight in .270 WCF flinging 130 grain bullets is a match made in heaven. Ol’ Cactus Jack would be proud!

I don’t know why Douglas isn’t more popular honestly. We have at least a dozen rifles with Douglas barrels in our immediate circle of family and friends. All of them, without variance, shoot like this!
Update:
While I need to sell this gun for the extra cash, a partial trade idea will be considered:
I need another High Standard Sport King (push button takedown, not lever) as mine is in the shop. Would prefer something ‘55-‘56 vintage with a slide stop, longer 6.75” barrel and a leather...
This group was shot with my old standby load:
165 grain Nosler AccuBond - 3.320” OAL
56 grs of IMR-4350
Winchester Large Rifle Primer
2850 fps in both my M70’s
Its the easy button. Shoots great in every rifle I have fired it in. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
That is a great photo ‘Bird! Yeah I REALLY hate to sell this gun but life as it so often does, has taken this from me too. Hopefully I can sell a few guns and get everything back on the damned rails.
