I never liked the pilots making groove marks on the inside of the case necks either, nor cranking. I went with the Giraud and its fast and I can do a hundred cases in less than 15 minutes. A Sinlclair Wilson trimmer is nice where you do not need to use pilots.

Wow, 3300 plus fps with a 175 mono. That is some insane speed. Half an inch @ 100 is a good load. How far off the lands are you seating those monos? Any pressure signs on the head of the brass if I may ask?

I have yet to buy those Redding competition shellholders, I always have bumped them precisely at .0015' - .002". Reloaders have been happy with these shellholders. Thanks for the reminder. These helps when you have multiple rifles of the same caliber.

True, I also look at a certain bullet weight, and if there are no data for that weight, example is 130 grain 6.5 mm, I go to the next bullet weight which is 140 grain 6.5 mm and I look at the mid charge for that weight, and its safe to use that weight for the 130 grain weight as a starting point...

I would do one bullet for both jobs, its less worry and headaches. I won't mind using an elk bullet on a deer. The Partition will do the job nicely. The Accubond is a great bullet as well.
