    Best 20 for the money

Have not seen one yet but hope to find one to try. They make an over under too that's a lefty. Benelli makes an over under too that you can shim the stock for left or right but it's pricey.

I have a Stoeger Condor and it is definitely cast for a RH shooter unfortunately. Wish it were straight stocked. I'm going to look at a reflex sight so it will hit to point of aim left handed.

    224 WBY MAG

If it is a 224 RPM maybe a 80 gr Hammer bullet at warp speed.

    224 WBY MAG

Now that would be something! Would fit into what Weatherby likes to do.

    The Golden Ticket

Congratulations! Since you won the Douglas barrel it's already proven to be a lucky rifle for you. Hoping that this is the start of a much better year for you and your family! There's nothing on this continent I wouldn't hunt with a 165 gr AB at 2850 fps.

    204 Ruger

Bringing this thread up again. Any more info on the 204 Ruger as a predator round? Seems like it would be a point and shoot round to at least 300 yards.

    1000yrd goal

This would be a great place to start I believe other companies also load the 168 gr Berger's. Add the Nosler 168 gr ABLR factory load (although the ABLR can be more finicky when it comes to accuracy in general) and the Hornady 162 gr ELD-X load. Not sure if Hornady loads a ELD-M factory load but...

    Ok, Guys. A PSA Warning!!!!!

Handsome little dude, looks like when he's in his late teens he'll be able to pack out your elk for you. "It's up there, through the devil's club and above that cliff"!

    338WM and the 230eldx

That's what I heard too, pretty soft but that could be exactly what you would want at long range.

.338 Cartridges: What have played with? Which do you prefer?

I have only shot a couple of 338 Win Mags over the years. Probably won't get one but if I did it would be a Weatherby Accumark in 338 Wby RPM. I saw a left hand Accumark in 340 Wby few years ago and wish I would have gotten it. Such a powerhouse that compares well with a lot of newer rounds.

    .338 Engels?

Never heard of it but looks like a much longer 338-06. Don't think I would have fired that actually unless the bullet was jammed into the lands. I like the fellow doing the video, he has a pleasant demeanor and some very cool guns. This one is no exception.

    South Dakota?

I thought the Eastern parts of Oregon and Washington were wanting to join with Idaho? I can understand your frustration Guy because we are in a similar state in BC. It's hard to deal with the big cities like Seattle and Vancouver and their lack of sense or character. I would bet that there was...

They did say they lubed the case, not sure how exactly since he was using a rag while mentioning it.
