The 270 Bee has the case capacity to push those long bullets fast. Should be awesome performance with reasonable recoil. Such a sleeper round that has great potential.

I do wonder if a faster powder makes a difference. The 375 Ruger I used to own had a 20" barrel, it burned around 80 gr of Big Game powder and muzzle flash wasn't noticeable. Of course it's a bigger bore size and a 1.5" longer barrel than the OP's 6.5 Rem Mag. Very cool round by the way, it...

Glad someone mentioned Big Game because I did try it before. Hard to believe it was 11 years ago now. That 275 gr Woodleigh load sure got your attention in a 7.5 lb rifle. The 250 gr Speers did quite well and 2559 fps was pretty decent speed...
