I've been able to increase charges in all my #1s except this one. I've hit 3150 but getting over about 69.5 the action gets pretty tight.
I use257 AI IN My Roberts and with the 7x57 I get 2900 with a 150. This one doesn't like to go over 3k.
Thanks for running the numbers👍
Wondering if I could get a quick load run based on my DOPE.

I loved carrying my 45/70 whilst guiding in Alaska. I do think I ruined a few of my clients who begged to shoot it. I had her loaded with 400 gr. Barnes Busters as hot as I could go, essentially a 458, Most who tried those top end loads only did so once.
Loaded to more traditional levels the...
I also owned a Christensen, two of them actually. My 1968 Ruger mdl 77 and my #1s out shot both of the Christensen.
I would want to know how much your brass may be expanding, Haven’t had my first cup of coffee yet so I can’t come up with the numbers, but the shoulders of my 300 HH grow...
It seems every year, sometime between mid September and mid October, we get the first big Pacific Storm rolling in. Oregon goes from dry as a popcorn fart to rainforest wet over night.
For us on the dry side of the cascades, geographically identified as high desert, we get rain as well and snow...
The 300s are great cartridges, I’ve owned several and currently have a 300HH I shoot extensively. That being said. I’m old enough to remember when guys were buying the various 300mags because they shot flatter than the 30 06 not because extra horse power was needed for deer and elk. That was...
Gotta tell ya boys, the 416 bee makes me shudder and say bad words when I shoot one. The 416 Rigby is tolerable but that bee just gets me thinking about ducking when I pull the trigger. Way worse than my 577 ever was.
My 275 Rigby has become my favorite rifle. Easy to carry, wonderfully accurate, easy to shoot to 400 yards struggling right now with taking it over the 300HH elk hunting but that wont likely happen. However, she very well may make the trip to Africa this spring. 140s a touch over 2900 and 150s...
I'm quite comfortable tonight, kinda windy but warm for 6000 ft. Been up here since Friday and it's true, deer numbers are way down in this unit. I recall years past seeing close to 20 bucks a day. I've seen two spikes a fork horn and one good buck who caught me flat footed, rifle slung and the...
