All these posts on the swede, plus I miss mine so......My new 6.5x55 Swede. I wanted one I bought brass and dies and here she is. Tikka T3. Best wood I have seen on a Tikka.

This. I will be trying out RL 16 RL 17 when I get my 6.5 Swede. Yes I bought brass ammo and dies for it. Now I have to find the gun. What a looney.

Not too shabby at all. I bet they keep the pressures way low so the ammo can be shot in the older guns. There is no reason why these modern guns with modern brass can't be loaded to 60k psi or so. I had a winchester push feed back the 90s. It shot the 140 hornady at 2750 fps with imr 4831...

I absolutely love the 6.5 Swede. A truly inherently accurate cartridge.
