Unfortunately I need repeaters. Great bullets though! I use them in my 375 BAS. 350 gr Lazers at 3250 fps.

I wonder what working up to this load with Ramshot Grand might yield?

Ramshot Grand will also yield higher velocities and it's burn rate is very similar to RL 26. Now on the other hand if I were to tote around a 26" tube it would not be in a 30-06 or 30-06 AI chambering. 300 win and up for me.

The garmin or the athlon?

Do not overlook the athlon. That is what I settled on. Faster to pick up and register velocities. Also will pick up the speed of a hand thrown stick !!!! Of course that is all academic but the lower price is indeed a big pro.

We will see what happens. Hopefully we will run into them.

Remember when it comes to powder its the coating that makes a difference!!! The coating determines the burning rate. The rest is pretty much the same. Are you keeping the 26" tube at that length?
