I did one of their Savage stocks for the wife and it looked like it was profiled by beavers. But for that price I can do that is needed for sure. I'll see what I can do to get that.
Thanks!!!

We are going to start with an old Savage model 19 NRA 22 lr. I've taught many people to shoot. My wife now shoots better than I do. She's continually getting 1.5-3" groups at 450 yards with her 6mm BR.
Basically my plan is to to build the rifle with parts I have in hand now, simply ordering a...
After shooters choice late Friday multiple times, letting it sit at minimum ten minutes and usually an hour, then letting it soak again overnight it kept coming out bright blue. Saturday morning I used wipe out with accelerator, let it sit an hour and a half, pushed out more carbon and copper...
I have a factory Savage 12 in 22-250 that I started cleaning on Friday, and patches are still coming out blue. I've used different solvents, and I'm almost there, the Lyman borescope still shows copper fouling.
It was shooting .5 consistently, then started opening up. Basically what I'm saying...
Hey there,
Going to be building a 6x45mm off a Remington 700. Looking for some advice on it. It's going to be a barrel nut set up, with plans of using it as a back up coyote gun and first deer rifle for the kids.
Two girls ages 6 and 8, they just decided they want to start shooting and...
Hey there,
Just wondering if I could get quick load data on 338-06 and CFE 223. Never thought about using this powder, saw that folks are using it for the 35 Whalen, might as well try.
225 Accubond, Winchester 30-06 brass necked up, 3.450 COAL, 25" barrel. Not sure if QL has the 225 Speer Deep...
What helps me is I'm 6'3" and wide in the chest and shoulders. It fits me perfectly but maybe I'm an outlier. Maybe I'll look at the Allen's just to have a back up and compare side to side. Thanks for the heads up!!

After having shoulder surgery a few years back, I wouldn't shoot half the number of rounds per year I do if it wasn't for my PAST pad. I jumped ahead of my shooting buddies and call it my puss pad, now most of them want one.
Great shooting!

I took mine at about the same distance this year with a 7 Rem Mag, using the 150gr Swift Scirocco II at about 3115. He made it about 75 yards, very little blood as well. I was a bit further back with shot placement, not an ounce of wasted meat. Nice young six pointer, and the rut up north had...
I've used RL23 with the heavies, 180 ELD-M, and got some of my most consistent SDs, single digits the norm. I think you will like what you find with it. I'm going to try it a bit more now that I've tagged out this year. Want to see what I'll get with a 150 Swift Scirocco II, so keep us informed...
Why thank you. I did my job, albeit not as well as I could have. I was back about six inches from where I wanted to be. I'm still new to deer hunting, this being the second year, and after watching his pal through the scope for about a minute before he came out, I was itchy.
A crotch six...
This years six pointer. Young deer but I was cold and it's meat in the freezer. 230 yards with the 7mm RM, could have placed my shot a tad bit more forward but he didn't even make it 100 yds.

Didn't take much more than half an hour with a dowel and some 80 grit to get it to fit with minimal clearance, then cleaned it up with some 180, and first coat of new satin clear is drying as we speak.

Just got my stock in for my 12FV I got for 320 after tax, before 100$ rebate. It shot amazing with the tupperware stock, but would throw one out of five almost every time I had a one hole group going and had to adjust the stock position in the bags.

I used the 200 grain in 30-06 for my moose, we recovered the bullet due to a longer shot, looks just like every other recovered Accubond. No picture, my father has it at his place. You'll do great with an Accubond, don't worry.

I have a 9t 223 that shoots the 70gr RDF extremely well with AR Comp, easily under .5 MOA all day long.
I use CFE223 with 50gr Zmax, 40gr gr Varmageddon with IMR 4198, hell I've used Varmint powder with 52gr HPBT with great success. Now I've upgraded to the 22-250 and plan on using 60gr Vmax...
I want this bugger. There only large game animal I've missed, but it was last year in the morning and same day I got his big brother, big ten pointer at the same exact spot.

Last year's 180gr 338 cal Accubond. Recovered only because it was a quartering shot from a 338 Federal, not as much big oomph, but sure knocked the snot out of a 138" white tail. Here's a chunk of lung that came out the entrance hole!

7mm Rem Mag 150gr Swift Scirocco at 3100 with H4831 in my new Remage I built over the winter
338 Federal 180gr Accubond at 2735 in my Ruger M77, used it last year, does amazing
338 Federal 200gr Speer Hot Cor in my DPMS 338LR, moving about 2500fps but extremely light and mobile
