    Bad weather rifle.

Well, a little MarineTex should fix that right up. Along with the proper screw. Good job of investigating.

    Bad weather rifle.

You’re killing me. Hornady is making 250 brass now.

Picked up kind of a rare one.

Super cool. I have a major weakness for the 250. (Although mines an ackley) I bet that 90 gr Sierra Gil mentioned would be the berries in that. Man, wherever you live based on your finds, I need to come there and hit some gun shows with you. You have some cool finds.

    Bad weather rifle.

Great grab. I like the CZs. Have a couple VZ24 built up. Really good actions. And you stole it. On the stick, take a look in the barrel channel. Maybe rub a few coats of WaterLox in there and on the outside. Should be good to go.

Am I looking at incipient case head separation ?

Just for grins I’d do the paper clip on the chamber also. It just seems those lines are very uniform in their location. I agree that it looks like separation but might as well see if there’s something with the chamber too.

    bullets and fps data

You shooting some Berry’s or Raniers in pistols? The reason I ask is I’ve used them and seen the speed ratings on them. I call them shoot in the dirt bullets. Great for targets, practice and drills. Reason I call them shoot in the dirt bullets is my home range is backed by a thick dirt mound and...

    Hornady 300 PRC

Shoot, knee jerked. Thought it was a necked up 6.5 PRC. Sorry guys.

    Hornady 300 PRC

Yep. That COAL also pretty much relegates it to a long action which kind of defeats the “short and fat” purpose imo.

They will definitely shoot. It’s a really fun cartridge.

    QuickLoad questions thread...

Anyone think maybe doing some common runs for cartridges that are constantly requested and sticking them up somewhere? Maybe here? Seems like 6.5 creed, 270, 06, 7 mag, 280 and anything else you guys can think of. It seems like we’re running the same ones every couple weeks is my rationale.
