Either working on to many guns, or getting old.

Hate to admit it but found a pistol I’d hidden when leaving on a quick trip a couple years back. Knew I had it but couldn’t remember where I hid it. Man. Was moving some stuff and a mag bonked me on the head. I kind of went “huh?” Then I thought “aw man, I remember sticking it up there now”...

    Another big surprise from Hornady

Bet you’re right. They’d be missing the boat without those. Seems $.80-1.25 each.

    Marlin 336

Nice deal. Something about a 30-30. Nostalgia, deer camp and so on. Lot of deer accounted for by that cartridge. I like Marlins also. I’d have probably walked out with it also.

    Resizing 30 to 25-06 help

You can get inside neck reamers if you search. They clean up the inside donuts pretty well.

    Good day at the range.

Just an FYI in case you need it. In Winchester’s last brass run there was quite a bit of 300 Savage. You can find it online or pm me and I’ll grab however many you want. I saw some at a local store.

    Resizing 30 to 25-06 help

I’d go 30 cal to 284 or 277 then down. I’d also think about turning the necks to help prevent the bulge. Ideally you use a 284, 264, then 257 and the gradual drop should help as 350 mentioned.

    New project .223

I run mine a little slower because I couldn’t beat the accuracy Benchmark gave in my bolt rifle w 50s and 55s.

I’ll launch the computer and run it but Benchmark with that bullet will be the ticket. Probably around 24.5 or a little more. Work up. Give me a few minutes

I really like the cartridge. Fun to shoot and flinging fairly heavy 224 bullets is fun too.
