I run some of those 123s in my Grendel. Good little bullet imo.

You're exactly correct Gil. There is an awful lot of junk science being used in the firearms and ammunition "opposition lobbies" imo. Well said.

    338-06 or 35 Whalen

The Savages are extremely easy to do. No problem at all if you have any meechanical inclination whatsoever. Triggers- any of the upgrades (Timney, Jewell, etc) can be fit but I would say buy a Rifle Basix trigger for the Savages and you're good to go. Really very good especially considering...

    The Verdict on E-Tip Bullets???

A thought on the eTips and monos. Generally it seems most run the next weight down with them versus traditional lead cores. For example, in a 7mm that usually runs 140-150 gr many run a mono 120. I ran the 100 mono (both eTip and TTSX) in my 257 Weatherby with excellent results versus running...

Those 95s are impressive. I’m running the 88 ELD-M in my Valkyrie and it seems to like them. Might try a few, bear, they fly very nice. Bet that cartridge could really make them move.

    Heavier 257 AB; better BC

Agree Fotis. The 25, while I really like it, I believe is suffering due to the higher b.c. 224, 243 and 264 bullets. It’s kind of left in the lurch.
