    RamShot Grand in Lapua 338

    In the Lapua I see they recommend 97.0 of Grand Powder with 250’s for just over 3000 fps. Noticed with LRT with 250’s were over 3100 fps…I know this is just published data and not real world . My goal is just 3000 fps in either RUM or Lapua with 250’s.

    I see that on burn chart ! Up here in Interior I don’t see any H1000 or Retumbo on the shelves but RamShot LRT and Grand are. I bought a pound of Grand to try in the RUM and Lapua with the 250’s.

    Yes I also went to a RCBS Chargemaster when they were first introduced in 2007 still have my Chargemaster along with my RCBS 10-10 scale as backup or small batches of reloading .

    Used Hornady brass in Lapua once never again ! Can not stand Lapua loads went to Lapua Brass for my 338 Lapua and never looked back .

    RCBS 10-10 is very accurate you can fine tune the BB weights under the pan if needed . 50 years of reloading with 10-10 is the best !

    Put the Bronze Mesa Lapua in the CA MPR Bronze chassis topped it with ZEISS V4 4x16 x44mm. Kinda like to try some 300 gr Nosler Accubond LR in my stability Calculator their 3.66 out 4.00 very good.

    I prefer Winchester or Norma Brass Nosler brass they contract it out to be made. Different calibers are made by different manufacturers.

    10mm to 45 Super in Alaska

    I went from a 44 Mag to the Glock 20 about 13 years ago for Bear Protection in Alaska and about 3 years ago purchased a G21 Gen 4 and set it up to handle 45 Super + P. Liked it so much it’s my primary sidearm in Bear Country the 45 Super.

    Grand very close to H1000 in burn rate ! In 270 Win would it outperform H4831 or Reloader 22

    Since added a Christensen Arms Mesa Bronze in Bronze CA MPR stock for my 338 Lapua . Sold the AR 30 in 338 Lapua.

    Current Glock Gen 1 thru 5 being discontinued.

    I am sure it was appease the left side of audience. I have Gucci G20 Gen 4 and G21 Gen 4 and no need for any more very happy with my Glocks as trail pistols in Alaska.
