Good evening, has anyone tried the Berger 153.5 grain in a Creedmoor with RE26? I contacted Berger but they haven’t got back to me yet. Thank you for your reply. Stay safe and take care.
Thanks for the reply. Does she prefer the 280 AI over the 7 mag? I was looking at that cartridge myself for the Heritage. Not much separates the 2 of them.
Hello everyone. I’m trying to decide between a Nosler Heritage or a Sako Classic. Both would be in 7mm magnum. I’ve haven’t shot either and only just handled both. I searched looking for issues with either and there are some complaints with both. Right now I’m thinking Sako. This will be...
Thanks for the reply. I’m hoping to keep my shots 300 and under. I’ll try the accubonds after I try the partitions. I’m hoping a summer of groundhog hunting gets me ready. Thanks again.
Hello, I have a browning long range hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 26” barrel. My son and I have a mule deer hunt planned for October and I would like to use a 125 grain partition. I’ve had very good results with RE16 and a 130 grain ELDM. Does anyone have any results using RE16 and a 125...
Thank you sir. It looks like RE26 might Be a good selection for that bullet. I was using H 4831 with good results. The issue is it’s hard to leave well enough alone. Again thank you. One more question, what does the red colored language translate in your replies. That not Cyrillic is it? If so...
First of all thank you for your time and help. If you can I would like a quick load result for a 150 gr ELDX with RE 26 for my 7mm WSM. Now that Hornady is putting out brass I can start reloading again for this. Thank you very much.
I finally got to shoot and 42.8 shot the best. Right around 5/8”. No pressure signs at all. I’m .020 off the lands so I start tinkering with seating depth. Thanks for the replies.
I talked to Hornady and they said they haven’t tested it yet. Called Alliant and they said they tested it with the 129 grain SST. With 44 grains being the max. They also said to start at 40 grains and work up. I believe 2830 was the velocity they stated at max. Thanks again.
I just loaded 10 at 42.5 grains, 5 at 42.8 and 5 at 43.1. I’ll post the results after Sunday when I get to shoot. I got some data off the Alliant site which posts max at 44 grains for a 130 grain VLD. Hopefully it works out. Thanks again.
If I remember correctly the H1000 load was around 2940 fps. I didn't chrono the RE 33 load. I'm hoping to shoot Sunday. I'll post the results Thanks again.
It was with the 208 gr Amax. 107 grains of Re 33 with a COL of 3.750. The accurate load is 208 grain Amax with 99 grains oh H1000. At 3.750 also. Thanks again. Have a great day.
Hello again. I loaded up some 208 gr Amax bullets over the weekend and shot them on Sunday afternoon. Much to my dismay they pretty much hovered around 2-1/2" at 100 yards. Shot a different load that was previously pretty accurate in my rifle and was also pretty bad. I have a Zeiss conquest on...
I e-mailed Berger and they replied that due to recent changes in protocol they no longer give unpublished data through email. I called the provided number and didn't get in touch with anyone. I'm sure they are pretty busy. I'll try again later. Thanks
