Not really because I can’t decide. 17 WSM would be nice but Savages just don’t do it for me. Nothing on the new side maybe Winchester 70 but sure on the caliber. I’m in a holding pattern until something comes along.
Flip a coin, they are both great cartridges. I was thinking about a Whelen but I’ve been reading on the 9.3 and really like it also. If going out of the country I say the 9.3 plus I believe in Africa you can buy the ammo over the counter if it gets lost on the trip.
6.5 Creedmoor. It’s little bigger caliber and probably has a better blood trail than a 243. I have several 243’s and all the animals I shot and kids and wife have horrible blood trails. I’m against any 243 for deer. There won’t be any noticeable difference in recoil between the two. Just my 2 cents.

Blkram, very good info. I have some SGK that shoot .75, as well as Hornady RN that shoot as good. My powders I've used are 3031, 4064 and H4895...
