I would get the rifle and not look back! I had one in the 25-06 and I was getting three shot groups of .311 inches at 100 yards! I really like the S&W I-bolt rifle.
How hard will it be to pillar bed this stock? Can someone explain how to do it? As I have never done it due to all of my stocks being pillar bedded already.
That is one great looking rifle you have there. I should be ordering mine here in the next week so I will get the birchwood casey oils and get to work.
See if you can get your cleaning rod down through the muzzle and push the bullet back into the case and smack the cleaning rod a few times and that should get it out. Just watch out as powder will go everywhere.
I appreciate the site you gave. I should not have to worry about the finish on the ross stock because I have to buy the unfinished one and finish it myself because I don't have a floor plate and the finished stocks already have to the floor plate cut out on them.
