Well, I wound up with a M77 Hawkeye in 375 Ruger. Although I'm wiped out until I sell another toy or two, I'm liking the idea of the #4 reticle in a 2-10 Minox. Beyond that I'll be looking towards the $299 Conquest from Cabelas.

I've heard mostly good things of Hodgdon's SP... but I just noticed this thread is two years old and it dawned on me... Hodgdon still doesn't offer hardly any data for this powder. Is the stuff that limited in its useful ability?

Sounds like I'm on the right track in looking for something not too different than what I'd want for a whistle pig scope.
