    Backpack Hunting & Backpacking !

That was August last year. No we found the lawn chair among a bunch of trash left there from horse back hunters. It worked great for my buddy. I was just sitting on the ground and I was very envious of the chair. Corey

Well spent $175 on licenses and tags this year, ouch. Put in for quality bull and for a cow tag, I'm sure I won't draw it I don't have many points. But like my buddy says, someone has to win it. Corey

    Backpack Hunting & Backpacking !

I'm just getting back into backpacking. Went on my first one in a long time last year. Had a blast. Hiked in 4 miles (2000 vertical feet down) to a small stream and had some great fishing action. We are getting set to do it again this year. My son is going to go along this time. I warned...

    New Stock paint job

Well I decided to give my Savage 7RM stock a new paint job, the other one lasted 2 years and was time for a new one. Nothing fancy just three cans of Krylon tactical and some clear coat and some weeds and shrub branches from the yard, I thought it turned out pretty good. Corey

    First ammo you loaded?

I started loading when in 96 or 97 for a .270 I had bought. Borrowed RCBS JR press which I had until about 4 years ago I gave it to my nephew who needed it more for me. I started with 130 grain bullets and finally settled on 140 grain with IMR 7828. I do not load for that rifle anymore. Corey

    What's that one rifle?

Mine would be my Savage 111 in 7mag. The most accurate rifle I have ever owned. Love it. Corey

    10mm bullets/loads

I did not find it too bad for practice or recoil. Very accurate though. I liked to practice with what carried. Even though I totally understand practicing as cheap as you can too. Corey

    10mm bullets/loads

    Set screw

Yup all mine are steel, and they have always frustrated me but this may be the solution I needed. Corey

    Set screw

I lock mine down, but I do like the Hornady style. I have never heard of putting lead shot under it, I really like that idea. Corey

    Crimped primer pockets

+1 on the Dillon. It was a great investment. All I get is military crimped cases (can't complain they are free to me). It is quick once set up correctly. Corey
