    What am I doing wrong

Yes on the weight of the bullets. I did not weigh all of them but a few of them and measured them as well and they seem fine. I'm not sure how far of the lands I am now. Ioaded to an oal of 3.725. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

I probably have 500 rounds through the barrel. I would not think enough to burn it out. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

Why would the reloading data be that far off? I had the same issue with RL 22 but loaded it in my son's 30-06 with no issues what so ever. I appreciate what you worked up here, I guess I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it right now. I was really hoping to get 3000 fps or at least...

    What am I doing wrong

None taken. yes it hit 3000 fps when it should, according to the book been 2800 fps. I had a similar issues or the same one with RL22 using Winchester brass before. In fact ruined all my Winchester brass, hence I have new batch. I was pretty sure there was no oil i the chamber, in fact I...

    What am I doing wrong

I had posted a few weeks ago about pressure issues in my 7mag. Thought I had it figured out but went to the range today and first shot, not even a hot load stuck my bolt closed, blew the primer. All my pressure problems started when I changed lots of RL22, which I thought was my problem but I...

    Pressure

Well that's interesting now. I guess I need to look at what I'm doing a little bit closer, because as you wisely explained it does not add up. Thank you. Corey

    Pressure

I came up with up with 3.752. However that is the load that gives me issues. My notes from past loads that were not a problem were 3.740. This is pushing the bullet up until I feel it make contact, following the directions from the Hornady Bullet comparative. I don't feel anything until it...

    Pressure

160 grn accubonds is the bullet. I actually thought I was .040 off the lands but noticed I was .012 out from the year before. I changed powder lots at this time and thought that was the problem, and the only thing I changed. But looking at my notes I see that my seating depths are different...

    Pressure

So I have some questions about pressure. I had some loads of RL22 in my 7mmrm that I thought was a bad batch of powder, but it turns out I'm an idiot. Thought I would get that out of the way. I found this out when I loaded some new loads with a different brand powder and on the beginning load...

    7 Mag pressure issues

No I'm done trying the Rl22. I've tried the very minimum in the nosler book and still get pressure signs. I have 3.5 pounds of the stuff and I'm disappointed in it. I plan on calling to see if I have a bad lot or something. I can't see the swing being that big. That is why I want to try H1000...

    7 Mag pressure issues

I'd love to try H-1000 but it's so hard to find. I did find some RL26 yesterday and I'm going to give that a try next week. My fingers are crossed. Corey

    7 Mag pressure issues

I guess I should clarify. I did drop down with the new lot of powder worked up to 62 grains and had to stop. Thought that was safe until it started showing pressure signs. Well I guess I'll see if I can find some RL26 and give it a try. I just can't believe there can be so much difference from...
