I'm loading for my Savage 7 Mag. Using 160 accubonds, Fed G215M primers, winchester brass, and Accurate RL 22 at 66 grains. Got this load a while ago never had issues, accurate as all get go. Ran out of that lot of powder then my problems started.
New lot and I was blowing primers on brand...
What in the world is with the 7mm Rem Mag brass? I can't find any anywhere. I happened across some at a local store for the first time in over 6 months. All they had was premium Hornady brass which was $70 for fifty rounds, ouch. What gives?

No better way to honor your father than to continue is to do the things he taught you. Lots of great reloading help here too if you are worried about not doing it correctly.

I bought my Savage 111 in 7mm Rm for a donor action I made the mistake of shooting. It is now the most accurate big game rifle I have ever owned, better than my Tikka even. I don't really look at it as a mistake now, but at the time. My dream of building a 280 AI is on the back burner now. Oh...
Where were you guys when I went out and bought all those GM215M's, I could have bought another 1000s with the money I would have saved. LOL Its good information to know.

Dan, sorry been busy at work my load is 62 grains of RL 22 (used to load 66 grains but I have changed lots and this stuff is different). GM215M primers, winchester brass and a 160 Accubond. I really like the accubond bullet. How that helps. I would work up this load, my chrono showed 2995 fps...
I love my 550B but I will not give up my RCBS for rifles. Load mostly pistol on the Dillon with the exception of 5.56 I use a combo of both. As stated above I like to weigh out each charge with my rifle.

Yes I'm very happy with it and did not expect that. I expected at the least a 2 inch group. I'm ready to fill my cow tag now. Now its just up to me to do it.
