    ATTN: Nosler

You can't beat ELDMs for a 300+ hunting bullet. Every buck and spike we've hit with the 7mm 180s were hammered and lights out DRT.

Where can one find just the bullets to reload, that haven't been pulled? I'm not seeing them anywhere online. The only place I see them for sale is DRT and they're pulled. Not interested in pulled bullets.

    ATTN: Nosler

Exactly my point! We are not the only ones! It's an anomaly when they actually do shoot from a rifle...For every 1 rifle that shoots them, there's at least 10 or 20 that don't. I don't see how that's productive for anyone. Looks like I'll just be sticking with the Hornady 180g ELDMs until...

    ATTN: Nosler

We need a 7mm 175-180g regular AB! Something around at least a .600-.625 BC You make a 30 cal 200g AB and 338" 300g AB so it can be done... The 175g ABLR is not it. They don't shoot 9 out of 10 rifles, and they don't expand as well as the regular ABs. Sure they have a high BC, but that doesn't...

Winter time - Cabin Fever.. what to do

If you can get the 75 ELDMs around 3K, which is entirely possible with a bolt gun and 28-30" tubes, it's not as bad as you'd think. It's not too far off a 6 creed with 108 ELDMs at 3K.

    Night force. NX8 vs Leupold

I've seen a couple bad story's from all of them really. The NX8 and MK5 have had their own line of issues. NF is looking to redesign their NX8 after a good buddy of mine has had to send it back 3 times now for broken internals on a 338 Lapua. He's also broke a Razor HD 3 times for the same...

Winter time - Cabin Fever.. what to do

My vote is a fast twist 223. Cheap to shoot, accurate, long barrel life, and a good training rifle. Also could double up as a nice coyote rifle too.

KYL and 800 yard MOA-1/2 MOA challenge

Thank you everyone. The wind actually wasn't too bad. Started off around 5-7 mph on the 500 yard KYL rack for me. By the time I was up for the 800 yard MOA-1/2 MOA stage an hour later, there was zero wind. Couldn't have asked for a better day. I lost by 1 point on the KYL rack to a pro shooter...

Heavier 6mm hunting bullet - Nosler listening?

Whats wrong with the 108g ELDMs? They've got a pretty track proven record for killing coyotes/antelope/deer. If I had to use my 6 creed for deer, that's what I would use and wouldn't feel bad about it all. They've slammed every dog I've shot with them and left nice size exits. You said you...

KYL and 800 yard MOA-1/2 MOA challenge

Good times at the MF MOA/KYL shoot today. Thanks to Gentry Thorpe for hosting it, and Alex Mendoza for letting me tag along. Also shout out to my amazing wife Erin Peterson for the support and taking pics/videos. I took the 6 Creedmoor with 108g ELDMs and tied for 2nd on the KYL at 500 yards...

    New copper tariff???

Has anyone actually tested them down to 13-1400 fps or have a link that does? I'd like to see it. I have a very hard time believing any copper bullet would sufficiently expand down to that low of velocity. Numbers I'm seeing is 1800 fps for non tipped hammers, and 1700 fps for tipped variants...

    On the edge of stability...

Those HHTs look like a good bullet. If I was in the market to shoot monos, that'd probably be the one. However I only have a 9 twist on my 7-300 so it looks like I'd be limited to the 140g. The BCs aren't that great for what I'd do with them, but I'm sure they'd work just fine out to 600 yards...

    On the edge of stability...

Why not just shoot the 155g? That'd be the most logical thing to do.

    Coyote vs 6 Creed

Did a little coyote hunting this morning on a buddy's farm. Seen this little guy bedded down in some grass at 275 yards. All I could see was his head. Got the 6 Creed all set up, dialed 2.5 MOA, cranked the MK4 up to 25x and let a handloaded 108g ELDM fly! She's a thing of beauty!!!

Muzzle break for Nosler model 21

I also recommend getting ahold of Nathan. His brakes are the only ones I'll put on my rifles. One of the better, if not the best brakes out there for recoil reduction. Super nice guy and he'll get you squared away in no time.

    Testing the 6 BR

Very nice! Hard to beat the 6 BRs! I tossed around the idea and went back and forth deciding between a 6 BR or 6 GT on my next build for a PRS rifle. I finally settled on the 6 GT mainly because I already have all the components for it on the shelf. Hoping I didn't make the wrong choice!
