I run Varget right now in my 7-08 with 140 gr Sierra Game King bullets. Ive also got a real good load with 150 gr Nosler BT's and Big Game powder.

Found IMR 4350 and Varget for 52.99 at my local store the other day. I hate these prices as well but my question is, what's a person to do if you need those particular powders. You either pony up and buy it or do without.

I am in possession of many, many hundred 284 cal 150 gr NBT's and a friend wanted a a couple boxes and presto, I had 100 Unicorns. I really have no need for the Unicorns, nor the NBT's just to be honest. I figure I can use them to get something I really need.

I just don't have a need for 160's. I use 154 gr SST's in my 280. I use 140 gr GK's and 139 gr SST's in my 7 -08. I would consider SST's as well

I use two Protector leather bags. One front and one for the rear. This gives me good stability but still leaves me in control of my rifle.

I have RCBS, Lee and Hornady. I really don't care cause all have "rolled" very consistent ammunition for my use but of I had to choose it would be Hornady. It seems they are the easiest to set-up.

Im set on BH209 for a while. I still have 2 bottles that I snagged a couple years ago at a Wally World end of hunting season clearance sale. I got both bottles for 14 dollars a piece, that's right, 14 per bottle. LOL
