Oh, I think I have a solution.... we may have to abolish the regulation, and documentation. I would venture to say it doesn't cost $200 per transaction anyway.
If they ran like a business traded on the open market they could employee a panel of people to ensure those of saine mind are...
*Mauser haha. I may have been celebrating yesterday, all day. Didn't catch that lol
This one was super cool. A guy we hunted with was retired Airforce fighter pilot. He bought a few German Mouser's from a WWII Armory that was sealed up for years. It came covered in a cosmeline like...
Biggest reason I'm considering getting a an Alpine CT model 307 is because the Sheridan plant and when Adam Weatherby came to my buddies gun store here in central PA, he shot me a text to stop in and say hi. Super awesome guy. The type of person you are happy to support.
This post is very cool. I feel like an amateur compared to most of you. My list isn't as long, but I have had some pretty exciting hunts with some of these calibers.

If your average shot for her is 40 yards, your speeds and that barrel length will be no problem at all. A little slower may help the situation even haha. I think you made a fine choice. My 8 year old daughter has a 7mm-08 Begara Stoke. Last year she carried my 44mag lever and a 30/30. I was...
Thank you for the good advice and helping me get started the right way. Swaro actually offers a ring with the turrets numbered that will drop right on the scope. Although, I like having a good reason to buy a new scope and I could put this one on the 22 Creedmoor I've been thinking about to...
I don't like the way these come apart, especially for hunting and hoping for an exit hole. I love the way they shoot though. I've found them to be accurate in my 7mag, 6.5prc, and 6mm.
Those are decent little guns. They have a model that has a barrel from BSF, the same barrel used on some Weatherby 307 model rifles. Their 110 Ultralite has a Proof Research barrel, which in my opinion is one of the better "off the shelf" type barrels you can get. To me the biggest draw back...
It is that style. You have to count the clicks or set one of the dots on a preset number of clicks with a range. I can change it out for a turret that is numbered though. It sounds like that is something I should do?
Thank you for the great detail. The recoil on the 7mag or the 300 WSM doesn't bother me and holding in the scope is not difficult. These are also both equipped with an OMNI style break that helps a little. One thing that has been consistent from all you guys is a gun I'm comfortable with and...
He shoots factory ammo, he is not a reloader. Last year he was carrying 150gr Winchester silver box. Can't say I remember the exact bullet in that load though.
I believe it’s a true ballistic turret, it just has preset rings that you can adjust to a set number of clicks.
Check it out and let me know if it’s correct or if I should consider changing scopes.

I enjoy the process in all honesty. I typically can be dialed with less than 20 rounds. I look for tight group, typically I'm after half MOA, i like my SD below 10 and prefer my ES below 20. It's normally not a big deal to get there. If one gives me fits I may redo my OCW or extend my seat...
